East Jefferson General Hospital golf tournament to benefit Infusion Center
East Jefferson General Hospital Foundation, a non-profit 501(c)3 organization, is hosting its 2012 Annual Golf Classic on Monday, May 14th at Chateau Golf and Country Club in Kenner, Louisiana.
Since its inception, the EJGH Golf Classic has raised over $500,000 to support programs and services at EJGH, including diagnostic and treatment equipment, patient education, community wellness programs, and nursing scholarships.
The proceeds from the 2012 Golf Classic, unless otherwise requested by a sponsor, will be designated to help fund the building of an expanded and modernized Outpatient Oncology Infusion Center.
The new Infusion Center will be state-of-the-art, expand service capability, and provide patients and their families with a healing and comforting environment in which to receive their cancer treatment.
