Once again, the Chamber Crawfish Boil attracts over 500!

On Friday, May 13, 2011, the parking garage behind the Chamber office building on 3421 N. Causeway in Metairie transformed into a party featuring music, food, drinks and over 500 people.
Historically, this fun, uniquely New Orleans-style event boasts a turnout that includes a number of elected officials plus a host of the key decision-makers of our community. This year’s event featured opportunities to network and socialize with Jefferson Parish business leaders and public officials.
Tom Meyer, financial advisor at Benefit Planning Group has attended this event every year for the past 10 years. “The Chamber’s crawfish boil is one of the best networking events of the year that I use for my business. I always purchase tickets and give them away to my clients as not only a thank you, but to introduce them to other people.”
“This is always one of the Jefferson Chamber’s premier events of the year, and it is also a great way to meet with many of Jefferson Parish’s small business leaders while sharing some great Louisiana crawfish,” Congressman Steve Scalise said.
The crawfish boil is one of the Chamber’s major fundraisers of the year, providing necessary funds that support the many programs that it sponsors in the community to foster economic, business, leadership, and educational programs.
