Welcome to Leadership Jefferson.

Looking forward, we welcome new opportunities, new ideas and new markets that will enrich the quality of life in Jefferson Parish.  And in doing so, we are most proud of our recruits upon whom the task of shaping our community will fall.

Through an eight-month training process, we set out to provide you with a clearer understanding of the total community and the dynamics of social and economic change. In an esprit de corps environment, the building of new business and personal relationships with peers from other communities are encouraged.  Leadership skills training, lectures and discussions are all part of a comprehensive curriculum designed to enhance your professional and volunteer career.  The program is open to anyone who resides or works in Jefferson Parish.  More importantly, you must demonstrate a personal commitment to Jefferson Parish and have a desire to continually improve the Parish’s future.  If you, or someone you know are interested in participating, please complete the application by the August 29, 2011 deadline.
