Ribbon Cutting Program

Are you having a grand opening, reopening, or celebrating a milestone? Let us represent you in front of the community with a ribbon cutting! For a small fee, we’ll bring staff, ambassadors, and generate awareness of your event. Ribbon cuttings are terrific for growth, visibility, and credibility, so reach out to schedule yours today!

Please allow a minimum of 2 weeks from the date of form submission to the date of the event. The Chamber recommends scheduling your event Tuesday through Thursday, any time from 9am – 4pm. Chamber representatives cannot be guaranteed outside of these days, and/or times.

Ribbon Cutting Fees

Current Members: $200
Non-Members: $350

(Please Note: This fee cannot be applied to the purchase of membership dues.)

Apply for a Ribbon Cutting Today
  • Jefferson Chamber branded ribbon and large scissors on the day of the event

  • Attendance by at least one Chamber staff member who will deliver remarks

  • Promotion of your ribbon cutting ceremony in our Chamber e-newsletter and online events calendar

  • One framed photo for keepsake

  • Delivery of ribbon cutting invitation to Chamber staff, members, ambassadors, board of directors, and Jefferson Parish elected officials

  • Photos and video clips of the ribbon cutting ceremony posted on our Chamber’s social media platforms for increased business visibility

The Chamber will provide the following:

Your business is responsible for providing the following:

  • Choosing a ribbon cutting date and coordinating with a Jefferson Chamber staff member a minimum of 2 weeks in advance

  • Paying the ribbon cutting fee

  • Inviting additional guests, not including those already invited by the Jefferson Chamber

  • Providing food and beverage, if desired
