METAIRIE, LA – Key leaders from the Jefferson Chamber and Jefferson Parish will travel to the Louisiana State Capitol for Day at the Legislature, presented by Uber, on Tuesday, March 24. Attendees will meet with the Jefferson Parish Legislative Delegation and Parish officials.
Day at the Legislature activities include monitoring House and Senate committee meetings, a legislative briefing, and a reception with regional legislators and state officials, as well as an opportunity to learn about the legislative process and receive information on the status of key legislation critical to Jefferson Parish and the business community.
A reception at Capitol Park Welcome Center with Drago’s Seafood Restaurant rounds out the day.
Individual registration is $120 and includes transportation to and from Baton Rouge, boxed lunch, reception at the Capitol Park Welcome Center, refreshments, programming, and the opportunity to network with elected officials.
