The Jefferson Chamber Political Action Committee (PAC) announced that it will endorse Julie Stokes, R – Kenner, in the State Representative District 79 race.
This special election comes after Tony Ligi, R – Kenner, resigned his seat to take the position of executive director at the Jefferson Business Council. The PAC interviewed three of the four candidates in the race on February 5 before making their formal endorsement.

The Jefferson Chamber PAC, Inc. is a political action committee established as an independent, not-for-profit organization to endorse and support political candidates who, though their acts, have demonstrated interest in the private enterprise system. The PAC is a separate entity from the Jefferson Chamber of Commerce which cannot make donations to, or endorse political candidates.
