Todd Murphy, President of the Jefferson Chamber, explained the Chamber’s strategic plan to the Rotary Club of Metairie during their Thursday luncheon at Metairie Country Club.
Murphy described his plan to revitalize the Chamber and build business in Jefferson Parish. He addressed a variety of related subjects starting with past accomplishments and current projects of the Chamber. The chamber leader discussed the impact of the Washington Fly-in event as pertaining to public policy and quality of life issues which includes the renovation of Fat City, the Crescent City Connection tolls, business growth on the West Bank and the accreditation of the Chamber itself.
After the presentation, the group of about 60 was excited to ask the new president many questions concerning parish development.
“We know our speaker has sparked interest in the group when the questions only stop because we’ve run out of time,” said Dan Milham, Rotary Club of Metairie President.
On November 7, Murphy will be guest speaker at the American Society of Women Accountants (ASWA) Public Relations Luncheon. If you would like Todd Murphy to speak to your organization, please call (504) 835-3880 for scheduling information.
