What a busy couple of weeks it has been for membership over at the chamber office! Last week the membership committee met and confirmed the details of our next New Member Orientation. Through the collaboration of Tom Meyer, Julie Willoz, Doreen Parnell, and Archie Corder it is set for April 2. It will be at the East Jefferson branch of the library with coffee and doughnuts at 8:15 am and session from 8:30-930. This is going to be a very informative session on what the chamber can do for you and your business. Please put it on your calendar. This is appropriate for new members who want to learn more about their chamber as well as for veterans who are looking for a refresher.
This week, Cynthia Davidson with Office Depot presented to our diplomat committee. Her presentation helped us all understand the savings program a little better. Here are a couple take-aways: 1. The savings card is for use in the store. 2. This savings program can be tied to online purchases. To do this, you need to contact Cynthia Davidson at Cynthia.davidson@officedepot.com. If you have an item or items that you purchase often that are not a greater than 5% savings item, contact Cynthia to see if Office Depot can put that item on a list for larger savings.
We have actually had a few members share some success stories regarding the amount of money they have saved with the Office Depot program. Please share your stories in the comments below or on our facebook page!
Stay tuned as we spotlight additional member cost saving and revenue building benefits!
