METAIRIE, LA – Newly installed Councilmen Ricky Templet, District A, and Scott Walker, District B, will address more than 450 business, community, and civic leaders at the Jefferson Chamber Annual Meeting, presented by Ochsner Health System, on February 6 at the Crowne Plaza New Orleans Airport Hotel. As one of the Chamber’s largest networking and social events, the Annual Meeting serves as an opportunity to celebrate the many accomplishments from the past year and announce exciting plans for initiatives, events and advocacy in 2020.
The 2020 Annual Meeting Panel will focus on becoming one parish with a regional outlook, early childhood development and our school system, and integrity of the neighborhood & beautification. Jefferson Parish President Cynthia Lee-Sheng will moderate the panel.
Prior to being elected to the Council At-Large Division A office, Ricky served on the Jefferson Parish Council representing District 1 for eight years. As District 1 Councilman, he was a champion of coastal efforts, beautification, quality of life initiatives and economic development.
