One of the finest qualities many great leaders have is the ability to unleash the potential in their employees. Leaders inspire results within the workplace and motivate their teams to do their best work.
As part of the 2018 Prosper Jefferson seminar series, the Jefferson Parish Economic Development Commission (JEDCO) and the Jefferson Chamber of Commerce are pleased to announce part one of a three-part series on creating a Happy, Healthy Workplace. Diane Jackson, SHRM-CP
The Slone Group
Diane Jackson is the Director of Curriculum and Programs for The Slone Group, an organizational development and training consulting firm based in the Greater New Orleans area. Diane develops, coordinates, and manages all programs and projects for The Slone Group, ensuring the delivery of high-quality and impactful outcomes for their clients. Her expertise includes research, data collection, project administration and coordination, logistics, evaluative services, curriculum development and delivery, and relationship management. Diane is an active community leader in the Greater New Orleans area, contributing her time and talent to the betterment of the community. Her civic leadership involvement includes Jefferson Chamber of Commerce, Jefferson Chamber Young Professionals, Jefferson RISE Charter School, and CASA Volunteer.
Mark Rosa
Jefferson Financial Federal Credit Union
Mark Rosa is the Chief Executive Officer for Jefferson Financial Federal Credit Union. Born and raised in New Orleans, Mark has been the Credit Union’s CEO since 1985. Additionally, he has been a part of the University Finance faculty at both Tulane University and University of New Orleans since 1987. He has been married for 16 years.
Beth Walker
Ochsner Health System
Beth serves as Chief Operating Officer for Ochsner Medical Center, and maintains administrative responsibility for the ambulatory clinics and physician group practice for Ochsner Health System’s flagship site on Jefferson Highway. Originally from Ohio, Beth joined Ochsner in 2002 as an Administrative Fellow after completing her MHA from The Ohio State University. She has since held various leadership roles in physician practice management throughout the system, prior to taking on the COO role in 2013. She has been recognized nationally as a young executive, both by Modern Healthcare (“Up and Comer” – 2013) as well as Becker’s Hospital Review (“Rising Star: 25 Healthcare Leaders Under 40” – 2015). She also completed Harvard Business School’s Executive Education program in Managing Healthcare Delivery, and is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE). She serves on the Jefferson Chamber of Commerce Board, and is an active member of the Junior League of New Orleans, holding many leadership positions over the last 12 years.
