Bill Ganon, CEO, The Ganon Group
Bill Ganon is the CEO of The Ganon Group, which specializes in improving communication across all levels of an organization and developing interpersonal communication and presentation techniques and abilities. Bill believes everyone can “up” their game when it comes to communicating critical initiatives and ideas within the organization, outside to new sales prospects and existing clients, or to media and trade organizations. The Ganon Group client list spans across industries: media, finance, technology manufacturing, tourism, and education – whether they are at established or early company life-stages. In addition to coaching organizations, Bill devotes his time to coaching entrepreneurs competing for cash awards at pitch competitions; graduate university students at Columbia, Tulane & Loyola Universities for presentation and sales strategies; and is a popular keynote speaker on sales, networking skills and presentation performance. Bill is also a storyteller at The Moth (www.themoth.org) in both New Orleans and New York City, and has won first place awards for both StorySlam and GrandSlam competitions.
Todd Matherne, CEO, Renaissance Publishing
Todd Matherne formed Renaissance Publishing in 2006. Since then, the company has grown to publish eight magazine (New Orleans Magazine, Biz New Orleans, St. Charles Avenue, Louisiana Life, Acadiana Profile, New Orleans Bride, and New Orleans Homes and Lifestyle). The company also publishes 21 custom titles for various organizations and runs two websites, MyNewOrleans.com and BizNewOrleans.com. Todd got his start in media with the New Orleans Publishing Group in 1987. He was the Controller for that company from 1995 to 2000 before becoming a partner and COO of MCMedia where he ran the entire media operations of nine magazines and two radio stations with 85 employees. Todd is heavily engaged in the local business community. He is the current Chairman of the Jefferson Business Council. He also serves on the board of directors for the Jefferson Chamber of Commerce (past Chairman), Jefferson Political Action Committee (past Chairman), New Orleans Chamber of Commerce, City Regional Magazine Association (past President), and Entrepreneur’s Organization of Louisiana (past President), just to name a few. In addition to that, he is also a member of many local organizations including: City Regional Magazine Association, Alliance of Area Business Publications, Association of Corporate Growth, Louisiana Restaurant Association, Greater Lafayette Chamber – One Acadiana, GNO,Inc., Jefferson Convention and Visitor’s Bureau, Advertising Club of New Orleans, Greater New Orleans Home Builders Association and many more. Todd has a Bachelor of Science in Finance from UNO.
Kristi Maupin, Relationship Marketing Strategist, Jefferson Financial Federal Credit Union
Kristi is a relationship marketing strategist currently working in business development for Jefferson Financial Federal Credit Union. She facilitates sponsorships and business partnerships that align with the financial institution’s mission of helping its members achieve financial success. Kristi is a proud UNO alumnus and will finish her master’s degree in market research from Michigan State University in December. She serves as the Communication Committee Chair for the Jefferson Chamber of Commerce and was honored as the 2018 Board Member of the Year. She also serves as a New Orleans Chamber Ambassador, having earned Ambassador of the Month three times this year. In her spare time, she enjoys running, going to 80s band concerts, and spending time with her Corgi, Sir Harry
