MEET OUR EXPERTS
Sarah Hugg Centorino, Gambel Communications – Communications Strategist
Sarah joined the Gambel team in May 2016. Beginning her journey as a communications associate, Sarah soon took over Gambel’s internal social media and media relations, rising through the ranks in a few short months to communications strategist. As a communications strategist, Sarah handles media and community relations as well as social media for a myriad of clients including Beignet Fest, Big Sky Ranch, Couhig Partners, Longbranch Recovery Center and The Ruby Slipper Café, among others. She also leads Gambel’s latest initiative: The New Orleans 100.
Sarah is currently a member of the New Orleans Museum of Art, Southern Yacht Club, The New Orleans Chamber and The Jefferson Chamber and is a recipient of the William Wells Chaffin Memorial Scholarship for Public Speaking (2015).
Gretchen Hirt Gendron, APR: Gambel Communications – Senior Communications Strategist
Gretchen joined Gambel Communications in 2012. Involved in the arts her whole life, she loves every opportunity to be creative and tell her clients’ stories in new and exciting ways. As a senior communications strategist at Gambel Communications, Gretchen handles media relations, social media, special events and community relations for her clients. Currently, Gretchen leads a variety of accounts representing the nonprofit sector, retail, healthcare and hospitality & tourism. She has yielded millions in media impressions nationwide in publications including The New York Times, Washington Examiner, CNN, Politico and Southern Living Magazine. She is a frequent speaker at local universities and professional organizations discussing topics including PR and social media; and is regularly seen on WVUE-TV (Fox8) sharing social media and app trends and tips with viewers.
A graduate of Loyola University New Orleans, Gretchen received her Bachelor of Arts in theater and mass communications with a concentration in public relations. Gretchen currently serves as President of the Public Relations Association of Louisiana – New Orleans Chapter. She has served on the Southern Public Relations Federation board and the Public Relations Association of Louisiana – State Chapter board. She is on the Community Advisory Board for Loyola University of New Orleans’ Quality Enhancement Plan; as well as an active member of the New Orleans Chamber and the Jefferson Chamber, serving on the Jefferson Chamber Foundation Board. Gretchen graduated from the 2013 Bryan Bell Metropolitan Leadership Forum, the 2014 Junior League of New Orleans’ Get on Board Training Program, the 2015 Leadership Jefferson program and the 2016-2017 New Orleans Regional Leadership Institute (NORLI). Gretchen was named the Rising Professional of 2015 from the Public Relations Association of Louisiana (PRAL) – New Orleans Chapter and a 2015 Award of Excellence recipient from the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) – New Orleans Chapter. She has received many other awards and recognition for her work in public relations.
Jeff Januszek, Jeff Januszek Social Media – Founder
Jeff Januszek is the founder of Jeff Januszek Social Media, a New Orleans based social media agency.
Jeff’s agency focuses on organically growing social media channels for clients like Breaux Mart Supermarkets, Fidelity Bank, and NOLA Lending Group. The best social media strategy comes from creating relationships with target audiences through original content, engaging personality, and attention grabbing ads. Originally from Detroit, in Jeff married a New Orleans girl in 2011. This cemented his one-way ticket to living in the Crescent City. Before starting his agency in 2014, Jeff spent 17 years in radio, 11 of those as an award-winning morning show personality. When not thumbing through client work on his phone, Jeff loves spending time with his wife, 2-year-old son, and 7-month-old twin daughters.
