Meet the Experts
JOHN J. FINN, III (JACK), GULF COAST BANK AND TRUST COMPANY
Jack is a Senior Vice President and Senior Credit Officer with Gulf Coast Bank and Trust Company, where he is directly responsible for credit and loan operations. Jack has 38 years in banking with an expertise in credit underwriting and approval. Jack has handled all facets of credit administration and asset quality operations (underwriter, loan review analyst, underwriting department manager, portfolio management, credit approval officer and credit committee member) over the years. He also has direct lending experience as a Commercial Real Estate lender and Small Business Banking lender. Jack has a BS in Accounting and a Master of Business Administration from the University of New Orleans. He is also a Certified Public Accountant and a graduate of the Graduate School of Banking of the South at LSU.
KEVIN LABORDE, CASH FLOW RESOURCES
Central Louisiana native Kevin Laborde earned his bachelor’s degree in finance from Georgetown University and MBA from Louisiana State University. Over the next 25 years, Kevin held numerous marketing, credit, and managerial banking positions— _the last 14 of which with Bank One in Louisiana (now JP Morgan Chase) where he worked with clients of all sizes. His true passion is looking out for the small guys – which is why, in 2003, he founded Cash Flow Resources.
Committed to teaching and mentoring, Kevin served as an adjunct faculty member in the finance department of Tulane University’s A. B. Freeman School of Business, where he taught a course in commercial banking for 10 years. Kevin was board president of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southeast Louisiana in 1999 and 2000 and the 2010-11 president of the Rotary Club of New Orleans. He chaired the southeast Louisiana interviewing committee for the Office of Undergraduate Admissions at Georgetown University from 1994 to 2015, where he still remains an emeritus board member. Kevin was board president for the Louisiana Chapter of the Turnaround Management Association from 2015 through 2017 and joined the Greater New Orleans Executive Association in 2014 where currently he serves as board member and treasurer.
Simeon Stringer, OnPath Federal Credit Union
Simeon is the Commercial Lending Manager for OnPath Federal Credit Union. Sim has fifteen years of experience in commercial baking specializing in commercial lending commercial banking, commercial loan underwriting, cash flow analysis, compliance, and closing processes. Sim enjoys spending time with his wife Melanie and four sons at various sporting events.
