METAIRIE, La. – The Jefferson Chamber of Commerce will host its 24th Annual Golf Classic, presented by The Port of South Louisiana, on Thursday, October 12 at TPC Louisiana in Avondale. TPC Louisiana is home to the state’s only PGA Tour event, the Zurich Classic of New Orleans. The tournament is limited to just 144 participants.
A prominent and well-attended Jefferson Parish event, the Golf Classic will provide golfers the opportunity to enjoy a day on the links with business colleagues, clients or prospects, and network with Jefferson Chamber leadership, board members and key decision makers in the community.
This golf outing is a shotgun tournament using all 18 holes for play. The day begins with light breakfast, coffee, and brunch cocktails. Boxed lunches are provided to each player. Shirts provided to each participant in the event are sponsored by Cornerstone.
Proceeds from the event support the business organization’s efforts in public policy advocacy and quality of life initiatives.
