AVONDALE, La. – The Jefferson Chamber of Commerce hosted its 25th Annual Golf Classic, presented by CF Industries, on Thursday, November 14, 2024 at TPC Louisiana in Avondale. TPC Louisiana is home to the state’s only PGA Tour event, the Zurich Classic of New Orleans. The tournament had 144 participants.
A prominent and well-attended Jefferson Parish event, the Golf Classic provided golfers the opportunity to enjoy a day on the links with business colleagues, clients or prospects, and network with Jefferson Chamber leadership, board members and key decision makers in the community.
This golf outing was a shotgun tournament using all 18 holes for play and included a Chipping and Putting Contest. The day began with a light breakfast, coffee, and brunch cocktails. The bar was sponsored by SERVPRO of Metairie. Each player received a shirt sponsored by Cornerstone, golf balls sponsored by Zito Companies, ditty bags, and boxed lunches.
The winning team of the Jefferson Chamber’s 25th Annual Golf Classic was LCMC Health.
Event promotion for the 25th Annual Golf Classic was made possible by the Chamber’s media partner, Buisson Creative.
Proceeds from the event support the business organization’s efforts in public policy advocacy and quality of life initiatives.
