Bill Ganon, CEO, The Ganon Group
Bill Ganon is the CEO of The Ganon Group, which specializes in improving communication across all levels of an organization and developing interpersonal communication and presentation techniques and abilities. Bill believes everyone can “up” their game when it comes to communicating critical initiatives and ideas within the organization, outside to new sales prospects and existing clients, or to media and trade organizations. The Ganon Group client list spans across industries: media, finance, technology manufacturing, tourism, and education – whether they are at established or early company life-stages. In addition to coaching organizations, Bill devotes his time to coaching entrepreneurs competing for cash awards at pitch competitions; graduate university students at Columbia, Tulane & Loyola Universities for presentation and sales strategies; and is a popular keynote speaker on sales, networking skills and presentation performance. Bill is also a storyteller at The Moth (www.themoth.org) in both New Orleans and New York City, and has won first place awards for both StorySlam and GrandSlam competitions.
Brandi Theard, Account Executive, Outfront Media
Brandi Theard is an Account Executive for Outfront Media in New Orleans. After 15 years in the broadcast television industry, Brandi made the switch in late 2019 to out of home. Brandi worked for WGNO Television under Tribune Broadcasting from 2004-2019. First as a National Sales Coordinator, then as an Account Executive following Hurricane Katrina. As the television industry changed over the past decade, Brandi was tasked with selling four television stations, a suite of digital products and multi-platform campaigns across the country. Prior to her TV career, Brandi graduated from LSU with a Bachelor’s in Mass Communications specializing in Advertising.
Born and raised in New Orleans, Brandi currently lives in Lakeview with her husband David and three children, Jack (8), Alex (5) and Evan (5). Yes, they are twins! And Alex is a girl! Brandi’s weekends are spent toting kids to dancing, football and baseball and trying to maintain an active social life. Brandi is a television junkie and loves to hear about the latest binge worthy shows.
Luke Jones, Principal & CEO, Toucan
Luke is the principal and CEO at Toucan. Prior to launching Toucan, Luke worked as a copywriter, social strategist and in-house marketing coordinator for a variety of firms and companies in New Orleans. An experienced marketer and storyteller, Luke works hand-in-hand with businesses to strategically grow brands and transform conversations into customers. In addition to being a podcast host and speaker, Luke is also the co-author of The Big Fish Experience, a how-to book focused on creating and presenting engaging presentations.
Lauren Lightfoot, Founder & CEO, MLC Works
Lauren formed MLCworks with a vision of helping businesses stay relevant and navigate a complicated and rapidly changing world. Prior to forming MLCworks, Lauren worked on both the agency and client side and saw the digital marketing challenges that existed for small to mid-sized businesses. Without a digital presence, these companies were losing out big time on potential customers.
