METAIRIE, LA – Get ready to start your engines! The Jefferson Chamber will host the 7th Annual Grand Prix, presented by Zito Companies, on Friday, July 13 at NOLA Motorsports Park in Avondale from 11:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Local businesses will convene at the karting raceway in the spirit of friendly competition, networking and teambuilding.
The Grand Prix is the Chamber’s largest teambuilding event of the year. Teams of five drivers will experience the thrill of racing by taking turns completing as many laps as possible in the allotted time in hopes of taking home the glory. This event also serves as an opportunity for participants to socialize and network with local professionals.
NEW for 2018:
- Teams will be divided into two categories, Competitive/Advanced and Recreational/Novice. The registrant has the ability to select which category their team will participate in.
- A Platinum Racing Experience is available, which includes a ticket to the Xtreme Xperience.
- The Grand Prix will be held during the day and continue into the evening, with the races taking place at 3 and 4 p.m.
- The event has family friendly activities. Starting at 3 p.m., NOLA Motorsports Park water slides will be open for kids.
Racing Teams are $1,200 and include one 5-person racing team with access to the driver-exclusive Pit Stop for food, drinks and networking, team shirts, 5 spectator passes, practice heats, promo code for unlimited karting heats and entry into the qualifying round and Grand Prix.
Cheer on your team by purchasing a Spectator Party Pass! The spectator passes are $20 for Chamber members and $30 for non-members, which Includes food and drink and the opportunity to watch the teams battle it out for the Grand Prix Champion Title.
