METAIRIE, LA – The Jefferson Chamber of Commerce will host the Jefferson Mayoral Luncheon at 12 p.m. on Tuesday, June 25 at Copeland Tower Suites and Conference Center. This luncheon serves as a great networking opportunity for business locals to hear from Mayors in each municipality on the progress being made in their respective areas.
The 2019 Mayoral Luncheon panel discussion will feature the following five Mayors: Mayor Tim Baudier, Mayor Belinda Constant, Mayor Timothy Kerner, Mayor Joe Peoples, and Mayor Ben Zahn. The panel of Mayors will be asked a series of questions ranging from progress being made in their areas to improvements to come. More than 200 business professionals will be in attendance. Ryan Daul, Chairman of the Jefferson Chamber, will moderate the panel.
Mayor Tim Baudier serves as the Mayor of Harahan, and previously served on the Harahan City Council for ten years.
Mayor Belinda Cambre Constant became Mayor of Gretna in July 2013, and was re-elected for a second term in June 2017.
Mayor Timothy P. Kerner has been the Mayor of the Town of Jean Lafitte for the past 28 years, and lives there with his wife and three children.
Mayor Joe Peoples has lived in Westwego for forty-six years, where he is currently Mayor.
Mayor Ben Zahn was elected Mayor of Kenner in December 2016, took office in January 2017, and went on to win re-election for a full, four-year term as Mayor in March 2018.
Networking will begin at 11:30 am, followed by the luncheon and panel from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Individual member tickets at $75 and prospective member tickets are $125.
