METAIRIE, LA – The Jefferson Chamber is pleased to announce a new Health Summit as part of its LiveWell Jefferson initiative. The Health Summit, presented by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Louisiana, will increase the knowledge and awareness of worksite wellness program concepts, tools, and resources, as well as increase employer capacity to build or enhance effective worksite wellness programs.
The seminar will be led by Nick Rees of Well-Ahead Louisiana within the Louisiana Department of Health. The Summit will also include a panel discussion with local businesses on their experiences creating a successful health and wellness plan within their organizations.
Panelists include Dominque Becnel of Gambel Communications, Angela Lacour of SCI, and Angela Mitchell of Delta Personnel.
The event is being held at Copeland Tower & Suites in Metairie and begins at 8 a.m. with breakfast and networking, followed by the seminar and panel discussion, and ends with lunch at noon.
