METAIRIE, LA – The Jefferson Chamber has postponed its Black & Gold Gala previously scheduled for Friday, April 3, as a precaution to help mitigate the spread of COVID-19. The rescheduled date will be announced in mid-April.
The Black & Gold Gala is held on turf of the New Orleans Saints Training Field at the Ochsner Sports Performance Center. The event, presented by Ochsner Health System, features an open bar, heavy hors d’oeuvres, silent auction, punch wall, casino area, dancing and live entertainment.
All proceeds from the Black & Gold Gala assist the Jefferson Chamber in supporting the many initiatives that it sponsors in the community, including economic, business and leadership development and education-related programs. Revenue from this event also enhances the Chamber’s capabilities to promote and support a pro-business legislative agenda.
Updates regarding the rescheduled date and information about the event will be posted on www.jeffersonchamber.org and on the Jefferson Chamber’s social media.
