Metairie, La — After hosting an informational session on Oct. 13 detailing new proposed electronic sign regulations, Jefferson Chamber President Todd Murphy says the recommendations by the Parish are “very restrictive to businesses.” Murphy expressed that there was still room for compromise but the current plan was a “one size fits all” approach.
The Parish Council has delayed its vote for the second time, pushing the issue to the Nov. 7 Council meeting. The Chamber’s Board of Directors are expected to take a formal position on the matter before the next meeting.
