Is Education important to you? Are legislative policies that effect how you live and/or do business important to you? Is your community important to you? What else is important to you? Your Chamber can impact change in these areas. Your Chamber can speak out against change in these areas. There is strength in numbers. We are embarking on a campaign to secure more voices to ensure more action. Your Chamber is focused on being a relevant voice of business and with the help of this campaign, this voice will be louder tomorrow than it was yesterday!
You, the members of the Jefferson Chamber, are experiencing stellar accomplishments, seeing positive growth, and living out your true potential. We just had our Excellence in Education luncheon where outstanding students, teachers, and principals were recognized. I think that I speak for everyone in attendance when I say that the 9 recipients were truly deserving of their awards. The students, specifically, were unbelievably impressive in their acceptance speeches; wise beyond their years. In June, we will have our Small Business Leadership Awards Luncheon where members, like you, will be recognized for various characteristics including entrepreneurial spirit, staying power, dedication to the support of the small business community, innovative product or service, and contribution to community-oriented projects. Thank you all for being great! We look forward to our future growth, which will only increase our ability to support you by enhancing the business climate in this place where we all live, work, and/or draw clients.
