The Jefferson Chamber of Commerce hosted its 4th Annual Grand Prix, presented by Zito Companies, on Thursday, July 16 at NOLA Motorsports Park in Avondale. Beginning at 5pm, local businesses convened at the karting raceway in the spirit of friendly competition, networking and teambuilding. Each team of five took turns completing as many laps as possible in the allotted time in hopes of taking home the glory.
The winners of the 4th Annual Grand Prix received medals of honor, with the first place team also receiving a trophy to display in the office. The following teams stood on the podium at the end of the evening:
- First Place: NOLA Motorsports Park
- Second Place: Level 3 Communications
- Third Place: Oracle Lighting Technology
