METAIRIE, LA – The Jefferson Chamber will host State of Jefferson, presented by Peoples Health, at a luncheon on November 14. The luncheon will be televised live on Jefferson Parish Television (JPTV). JPTV is available in Jefferson Parish on Cox Communications Channel 6, AT&T U-Verse Channel 99, and is streaming on jeffparish.net. The luncheon will also be livestreamed on the Chamber’s Facebook page.
Special guests include Jefferson Parish President Mike Yenni and Jefferson Parish Councilwoman-at-Large Cynthia Lee-Sheng. Each year, the Chamber invites the Jefferson Parish leadership to discuss and evaluate progress, performance and future planning in Jefferson Parish. The Joseph S. Yenni Award, sponsored by HCA Healthcare, will be presented to the most outstanding Jefferson Parish Employee of the year.
State of Jefferson is held at the Crowne Plaza New Orleans Airport and begins with networking at 11:30 AM and the Luncheon at 12 PM. Tickets are $75 for Chamber members and $125 future Chamber members. Sponsorship opportunities range from $850-$1,000.
Proceeds from the event support the business organization’s efforts in public policy advocacy and quality of life initiatives.
