METAIRIE, LA – The Jefferson Chamber will host the State of Jefferson luncheon, presented by Peoples Health, on Thursday, November 21. The luncheon will be televised live on Jefferson Parish Television (JPTV). JPTV is available in Jefferson Parish on Cox Communications Channel 6, AT&T U-Verse Channel 99, and is streaming on jeffparish.net.
Special guests include Jefferson Parish President Mike Yenni, Jefferson Parish Councilwoman-at-Large
Cynthia Lee-Sheng, and Jefferson Parish Superintendet of Education Dr. Cade Brumley. Each year, the Chamber invites the Jefferson Parish leadership to discuss and evaluate progress, performance and future planning in Jefferson Parish. The Joseph S. Yenni Award, sponsored by Tulane Lakeside Hospital, will be presented to the most outstanding Jefferson Parish Employee of the year.
The State of Jefferson is held at the Crowne Plaza New Orleans Airport Hotel and begins with networking at 11:30 AM and the Luncheon at 12 PM. Tickets and sponsorships are sold out, but Business Display Tables are available for purchase.
Proceeds from the event support the business organization’s efforts in public policy advocacy and quality of life initiatives.
