Congressman Cedric Richmond is hosting a free two-day interactive Small Business Summit & Expo in conjunction with Delgado Community College. August 22 – 23, 2012 at Delgado’s City Park Campus, Student Life Center, Building 23 in New Orleans, LA.
Small Business Summit: Wednesday, August 22nd | 5:30 pm – 9:00 pm
A panel of representatives of federal agencies and local officials will lead a discussion on procurement and contracting processes, as well as other issues facing small businesses. This is your chance to ask frank questions and get whole answers to your business concerns.
Expo: Thursday, August 23rd | 9:00 am – 4:00 pm
Presentations on topics including: financing your business, marketing your business to a federal agency, and small business assistance programs in your area. Connect with purchasing departments of major government agencies and top companies from the area for one-on-one meetings.
