The Esplanade Presents "Business Palooza"

Seminars presented by Jefferson Parish Economic Development Commission (JEDCO), Louisiana Economic Development (LED) and Louisiana Small Business Development Center (LSBDC) will take place throughout the evening and will offer a variety of resources for small business owners. Local businesses can register for one, two or all three seminars. Schedule of events includes:

4:00 pm-4:45 pm                  Business Services and Tax Incentives

JEDCO will highlight business services and beneficial tax incentive programs available to growing businesses.

4:45 pm-5:00 pm                  Registration and Networking

5:00 pm-5:45 pm                  Small Business Financing

Part 1:  JEDCO will present lending opportunities for Jefferson Parish businesses.

Part 2: LED will discuss the Small Business Loan and Guaranty Program which helps expanding and start-up businesses in Louisiana secure financing.

5:45 pm-6:00 pm                  Registration and Networking

6:00 pm-6:45 pm                  Small Business Certifications

LSBDC will provide information on small business certifications designed to help companies grow, including certifications for disadvantaged businesses, minority or woman-owned businesses, veteran-owned businesses and other small businesses.

COST:            This event is free and open to the local business community.
