HB292 by Rep. Pugh (school board term limits) passed the Senate yesterday with not a single vote to spare! The count was 20-16, and you can see how your senators voted here. We will all have a chance to vote on this issue at the polls in November. The bill heads to the governor’s desk for signature.
TODAY, HB293 by Rep. Harrison (repeal bus driver tenure) is expected to be debated on the Senate floor. Sen. Appel will be handling this bill on behalf of Rep. Harrison. It is sixth on the list of House Bills, and the Senate convenes at 1pm.
SCR99 by Sen. Appel (the MFP resolution) has been re-committed to House Appropriations Committee—so it seems there will be one final committee vote before heading to the House floor.
