On April 29th, Jefferson Parish voters will be faced with an important decision to RENEW the existing Library Millage that provides funds for materials and services, technology, over 200 employees, new construction, repairs, maintenance, upgrades, operational expenses for facilities and online programs.
The renewal of the millage provides a valuable community resource, as the library system continues to expand and improve through traditional branches, e-branches and online resources.
Note: these are NOT new taxes; they are a continuation of what is already in place.
