Washington Mardi Gras Weekend Agenda
Louisiana Alive! 2025
This event is a special salute to our Louisiana Congressional Delegation and their staffers and provides an impressive opening for the Washington Mardi Gras with great bands and outstanding food prepared by the most talented chefs in Louisiana. Not only does this sponsorship provide participation in one of Washington’s favorite parties but also it affords interaction with our Congressional people. Enjoy our VIP Jefferson Chamber box (with bar) overlooking the ballroom with optimum views of exciting live entertainment. Security personnel control balcony access.
Champagne Cocktail Party
This party, hosted in a private reception room located a few steps from the Ballroom, provides an intimate setting to enjoy some tasty cocktails and scrumptious hors d’oeuvres while meeting with our legislative officials as well as other Jefferson Chamber, area and State business leaders. This event immediately precedes the Mystick Krewe of Louisianians black tie dinner festival and presentation of the Court. A perfect way to begin an elegant evening and to network in style! This event has become a “don’t miss” and sells out yearly.
Champagne Breakfast after the Ball
Enjoy an appetizing complete breakfast buffet with omelet stations and cocktails. Combine some relaxation with one final networking experience with fellow Ball participants, legislative officials, and area and State business leaders in a private reception room. Our breakfast has become incredibly popular and will be a definite sell-out. This is the way to cap your WMG experience!
Accommodations
Important Note:
We will make a best effort to secure for our sponsors on a first-come, first-served basis hotel accommodations at the Washington Hilton Hotel and/or tickets to the Mystick Krewe of Louisianians’ Friday night Formal/Black Tie Dinner Dance and Saturday ball at $500 per set per person, which is the price set by the Krewe. Note that the Mystick Krewe requires the purchase of tickets for both events as a package. We can also secure for our sponsors tickets for Louisiana Alive in our Jefferson Chamber VIP Box (on the second level) overlooking the Ballroom at $250 per ticket. The Louisiana Alive box tickets and the Krewe tickets for our Jefferson Chamber group are always a sell-out; therefore, we suggest that you order your tickets when completing your sponsorship form. We cannot guarantee tickets will still be available by deadline. As our past sponsors are aware, we sold out of all of our tickets for all events very early last year; therefore, we urge you to act promptly so that you will not be disappointed. Mystick Krewe tickets and VIP Louisiana Alive tickets cannot be purchased without our first receiving your completed sponsorship form.
Hotel Accommodations:
We have again blocked a limited number of rooms at the Washington Hilton Hotel, site of the Mystick Krewe of Louisianians events and Jefferson Chamber events. The rooms are available on a first-come, first-served basis for our SPONSORS only. Once our room block is complete, we cannot secure additional rooms. Room reservations cannot be accepted without your completed Sponsor Registration Form. As our past sponsors are aware, our rooms sell out very quickly. Please contact Amanda Hoerner if you are interested in sponsoring Washington Mardi Gras.

First night room cost becomes non-refundable by the Hilton upon booking.
Bed preferences are noted but are not guaranteed by the Hotel.
Hilton cancellation policy: 7 days in advance of arrival

Message from the Committee Chairman
We are indeed proud of the wonderful successes of this Jefferson Chamber event, providing Jefferson Parish with great representation and our members with unique networking opportunities only a Louisianian can truly appreciate. We can assure our sponsors that we work diligently and with great detail to do the very best possible for each sponsor.
Last year we had almost 200 business leaders and guests that registered for our Jefferson Chamber events and the Krewe Formal Dinner and Ball, and we believe that this will again be an outstanding, sell-out year. We are also blessed at our private events to have such steadfast attendance by our Senators, our Congressmen, our State Representatives and State Senators, as well as our local officials. Our elected officials and our sponsors represent a true “Who’s Who” of our State. The issues facing us now are more critical than ever. Let’s maximize our potential to network in our Nation’s Capitol by utilizing this amazing opportunity.
Come be in that number! If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Amanda Hoerner at 504-835-3880 or amandah@jeffersonchamber.org.
